Cookie Policy (Sweden)
This policy describes the cookies and other technologies that store or read information on your device when you use the pages of lodgeyard.com intended for Sweden, why they are used, how long they last and how you can manage them. The Website uses no cookies for audience measurement or advertising.
Version 1.1 of 28 October 2026. A Swedish version is available at /se/juridiskt/cookiepolicy.
Article 1. Scope and controller
1.1 This cookie policy (the "Policy") applies to the pages of the website lodgeyard.com intended for Sweden (the "Website") and to the chat window displayed on those pages.
1.2 The Website is operated by REXOR GROUP LLC, 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #9493, Albuquerque, NM 87113, USA, which offers its products under the brand Lodgeyard (Lodgeyard, a brand of REXOR GROUP LLC). You can contact us at contact@lodgeyard.com.
1.3 This Policy supplements our privacy policy, which describes all the processing of personal data that we carry out.
Article 2. Definitions
2.1 In this Policy:
- a "cookie" is a small text file that a website places in your browser and that the browser sends back to that website with later requests;
- "local storage" is an area of your browser in which a website can keep information without a fixed expiry date, until it is deleted;
- "session storage" is an area of your browser in which a website can keep information only for as long as the tab or window remains open;
- "terminal equipment" means the computer, telephone, tablet or other device with which you access the Website;
- a cookie or storage is "first-party" when it belongs to the domain of the page that you are visiting, and "third-party" when it belongs to another domain;
- the "chat window domain" is the separate domain, rexorcloser.com, from which the chat window is displayed on the pages of the Website by the provider that supplies the automated replies on our behalf, as our processor.
Article 3. Legal framework
3.1 Under Chapter 9, section 28 of the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (lag (2022:482) om elektronisk kommunikation), information may be stored in or retrieved from a user's terminal equipment only if the user is given access to information about the purpose of the processing and consents to it.
3.2 Consent is not required for storage or access that is needed to transmit an electronic message via an electronic communications network, or that is necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user.
3.3 This rule applies to cookies and to other technologies that store or read information on your terminal equipment, such as local storage and session storage.
3.4 Where the information stored or read constitutes personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) also applies. Our privacy policy describes that processing.
3.5 In Sweden, the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (Post- och telestyrelsen, PTS) supervises compliance with the rules of the Electronic Communications Act on cookies, and the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) supervises the processing of personal data.
Article 4. Summary
4.1 The Website uses:
- one functional first-party cookie, "pays", which is set only if you choose a country or a language yourself in the menu;
- where its security functions require it, a technical cookie set by our hosting provider;
- the session storage of your browser, used by the chat window only once you open it by clicking on it, and deleted when you close the tab;
- the local storage of your browser, in which the chat window keeps, once you have sent a first message, the identifier of your conversation for 12 months after your last message.
4.2 The Website uses no advertising cookies, no audience measurement cookies, no social media cookies and no technologies for tracking you across other websites.
Article 5. Cookies and browser storage used
5.1 The following table lists the cookies and browser storage used on the Website:
| Name | Type and domain | Purpose | Duration | When it is set |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pays | First-party cookie, lodgeyard.com | Remembers the country or language version that you have chosen, so that you are no longer redirected automatically. It contains only the code of the version chosen. | 12 months | Only when you choose a country or a language yourself in the menu |
| Security cookie of the hosting provider | First-party cookie set by our hosting provider, lodgeyard.com | Protects the Website against malicious traffic and automated attacks, by distinguishing legitimate requests. | Limited to the duration that the provider sets for the security function concerned | Only where the provider's security functions require it |
| rexor-reglages-, followed by an identifier of the version of the Website | Session storage, lodgeyard.com | Keeps the display settings of the chat window, such as its colours, so that it displays correctly and without delay from page to page. | Deleted when you close the tab | Only once you open the chat window by clicking on it |
| rexor-ouvert-, followed by the same identifier | Session storage, lodgeyard.com | Remembers whether the chat window is open or closed, so that it stays in the same state from page to page. | Deleted when you close the tab | When you open or close the window |
| rexor-fenetre-, followed by the same identifier | Session storage, chat window domain (rexorcloser.com) | Keeps the texts and display settings of the window. | Deleted when you close the tab | Only once you open the chat window |
| rexor-conv-, followed by the same identifier | Local storage, lodgeyard.com and chat window domain (rexorcloser.com) | Keeps the identifier of your conversation, so that the conversation can pick up where it left off when you come back. | 12 months after your last message | When you send your first message |
5.2 The name and exact duration of the security cookie are determined by our hosting provider. The cookie is used only for the security of the Website.
5.3 The storage used by the chat window contains no advertising identifier and is not used to measure the audience of the Website or to follow you on other websites. The random conversation identifier links the messages of a conversation to each other; it does not reveal your identity.
5.4 The chat window sets no cookies and keeps no messages in your browser; the messages are kept on the server side, as described in our privacy policy. Nothing is written in your browser before you open the chat window by clicking on it. After that, its settings and texts are kept in session storage and deleted when you close the tab. Once you have sent a first message, the identifier of your conversation is also kept in local storage, on lodgeyard.com and on the chat window domain, for 12 months after your last message, as long as the conversation itself is kept, so that the conversation can pick up where it left off when you come back. This identifier is used for nothing else: no advertising, no tracking from one website to another. You can also erase it from the chat window, with the "New conversation" link.
Article 6. Other technologies
6.1 Audience measurement without cookies. We measure the traffic of the Website with an audience measurement service provided by our hosting provider. When a page loads, a script transmits technical information about the page view, such as the address of the page, the referring page, the type of browser and device and the loading performance of the page. The service sets no cookies, uses no local storage and assigns no identifier: page views are counted in aggregate, without following a person from one visit to the next.
6.2 Direction to the version for your country. When you arrive on the home page without having chosen a country, the server directs you to the version of the Website for your country, based on the country of your connection and the language of your browser. This information is neither recorded nor kept, and no cookie is set unless you choose a country or a language yourself.
6.3 Secure connections. The Website instructs your browser to connect to it only through secure connections (HTTPS) for one year. Your browser keeps this instruction, which contains no information about you.
6.4 Network error reports. Our hosting provider may ask your browser to report certain network errors encountered when loading the Website. Successful loads are not reported. Your browser keeps this instruction for up to seven days.
6.5 Chat window. The chat window is loaded in a separate frame from the chat window domain. The requests addressed to that domain involve the processing of your IP address for the purpose of transmitting the conversation, as described in Article 8 of our privacy policy.
Article 7. What we do not use
7.1 We do not use:
- advertising cookies or advertising identifiers;
- third-party cookies for audience measurement;
- social media buttons or plug-ins that place cookies;
- techniques intended to recognise your device across websites, such as device fingerprinting;
- technologies intended to build a profile of your browsing.
7.2 We do not sell the information collected by the technologies described in this Policy and do not share it for advertising purposes.
Article 8. Legal basis
8.1 We rely on the exception for storage or access that is necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user (Chapter 9, section 28, second paragraph, point 2 of the Electronic Communications Act) for:
- the "pays" cookie, which is set only when you explicitly choose a country or a language, in order to provide the version that you have requested;
- the security cookie of our hosting provider, which is necessary to provide the Website that you request in a secure manner;
- the session storage used by the chat window, which begins only when you open the chat window by clicking on it and is used only to provide the conversation that you have requested;
- the local storage in which the chat window keeps the identifier of your conversation, which begins only when you send your first message and is used only to provide the conversation that you have requested, so that it can pick up where it left off when you come back.
8.2 For these reasons, the Website does not display a request for consent to cookies.
8.3 The audience measurement service described in Article 6.1 sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device. You can block its script with the content-blocking settings of your browser without affecting your use of the Website.
8.4 Where personal data are processed by means of these technologies, the legal basis for that processing is our legitimate interest in providing a functional and secure website and in knowing how it is used in aggregate (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation), as set out in our privacy policy.
8.5 If we were to use cookies or other technologies that require your consent, we would ask for it before using them, and you could withdraw it at any time as easily as you gave it.
Article 9. Managing and deleting cookies and storage
9.1 You can view, block and delete cookies and the data stored by websites through the settings of your browser. The procedure depends on the browser and is described in its help pages.
9.2 Deleting or blocking these technologies has the following effects:
- if you delete the "pays" cookie, the Website will again direct you automatically to the version for your country;
- if you block the security cookie, access to the Website may be slowed down or subject to additional verification;
- if you delete the session storage or close the tab, the chat window reloads its settings the next time you open it; if you delete the local storage, for example by clearing the data of the Website and of rexorcloser.com in your browser, the identifier of your conversation is erased and the conversation no longer resumes automatically when you come back. The conversation itself is kept and deleted in accordance with our privacy policy, and you can ask us to delete it.
9.3 You can change your choice of country or language at any time through the country menu of the Website. The "pays" cookie is then updated.
9.4 If you use the private browsing mode of your browser, cookies and stored data are normally deleted when you close the private window.
Article 10. Changes, contact and language versions
10.1 We update this Policy whenever we change the cookies or technologies used on the Website. The current version is published on the Website with its version number and date.
10.2 For any question about this Policy, write to contact@lodgeyard.com.
10.3 This Policy is published in English and in Swedish. In the event of a discrepancy, the English version prevails, without prejudice to the rights that you have under the applicable law.
10.4 The other legal documents of the Website are listed on the legal information page.
