Cookie Policy: Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
This Policy describes the cookies and other trackers used on the Luxembourg version of lodgeyard.com, their purpose, their duration and the means available to you to control them. The Website places no advertising cookie and no audience-measurement cookie. Version 1.1 of 28 October 2026. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and French versions, the French version prevails (Article 12).
Article 1. Purpose and scope
1.1. This Cookie Policy (the "Cookie Policy") applies to the Luxembourg version of the website lodgeyard.com, in English and in French (the "Website"), published by REXOR GROUP LLC (the "Controller"), 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #9493, Albuquerque, NM 87113, United States of America, contact@lodgeyard.com. Lodgeyard is a brand of REXOR GROUP LLC.
1.2. The Cookie Policy forms part of the Privacy Policy, which describes all the processing of personal data carried out by REXOR GROUP LLC and the rights available to you.
Article 2. Definitions
- "Tracker": any operation which stores information in your terminal equipment, or gives access to information already stored in it, whatever the technique used, in particular a cookie, local storage or session storage.
- "Cookie": a small text file placed by a website in your browser and sent back to that website on later requests.
- "Local storage": a storage space of your browser in which a website can keep information until it is deleted.
- "Session storage": a storage space of your browser whose content is deleted when the tab concerned is closed.
- "Terminal equipment": the computer, tablet, telephone or other device with which you consult the Website.
Article 3. Legal framework
3.1. Under Article 4(3)(e) of the Luxembourg Law of 30 May 2005 on the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, as amended, storing information, or gaining access to information already stored, in the terminal equipment of a subscriber or user is permitted only if that person has given his or her consent after receiving clear and complete information, in particular on the purposes of the processing.
3.2. That requirement does not prevent technical storage or access carried out exclusively in order to transmit a communication over an electronic communications network, or strictly necessary for the provider to supply an information society service expressly requested by the subscriber or user.
3.3. The Website also takes into account the guidelines of the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD) on cookies and other trackers, last updated on 20 October 2021, according to which, in particular, trackers used to record a display format or a language setting, and trackers used solely for security, do not require consent, while information should be given to users even about trackers exempt from consent.
3.4. Where a Tracker involves the processing of personal data, the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) also applies, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Article 4. What the Website does not do
4.1. The Website places no advertising cookie, no social network cookie and no audience-measurement cookie.
4.2. The Website contains no advertising tag and no social network sharing button that would transmit your browsing to third parties.
4.3. The Website does not use any technique intended to recognise you from one website to another, or from one visit to another, for advertising or profiling purposes.
Article 5. Trackers used
5.1. The table below lists the Trackers which may be used on the Website.
| Tracker | Placed by | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie "pays" | Lodgeyard, on the Website's domain, only when you choose a country or a language in the menu | Remembering the country and language version that you have chosen, so as to stop redirecting you | Twelve months | Not required: service expressly requested by you (Article 3.2) |
| Security cookie | The hosting provider of the Website, on the Website's domain | Protecting the Website against attacks and abusive automated traffic | Limited duration set by the hosting provider for that security purpose | Not required: strictly necessary (Article 3.2) |
| Session storage "rexor-reglages-" (followed by an identifier) of the chat window | The chat window, on lodgeyard.com, only after you have opened it | Keeping the display settings of the chat window during your visit | Until the tab is closed | Not required: service expressly requested by you by opening the window |
| Session storage "rexor-ouvert-" (followed by the same identifier) of the chat window | The chat window, on lodgeyard.com, only after you have opened it | Remembering whether the window is open or closed during your visit | Until the tab is closed | Not required: service expressly requested by you by opening the window |
| Session storage "rexor-fenetre-" (followed by the same identifier) of the chat window | The chat window, on rexorcloser.com, the domain of the chat service which displays the window, only after you have opened it | Keeping the texts and display settings of the window | Until the tab is closed | Not required: service expressly requested by you by opening the window |
| Local storage "rexor-conv-" (followed by the same identifier) of the chat window | The chat window, on lodgeyard.com and on rexorcloser.com, the domain of the chat service which displays the window, only once you have sent your first message | Keeping the identifier of your conversation, so that the conversation can pick up where it left off when you come back | Twelve months after your last message | Not required: service expressly requested by you by sending your first message |
5.2. The audience measurement described in Article 7 does not place any cookie and does not use local storage or session storage.
Article 6. Direction to the version of your country
6.1. On your arrival on the home page, the Website directs you to the version for your country, according to the country of your connection. That country is determined at the time of the request; it is neither recorded nor kept, and no Tracker is placed for that purpose.
6.2. If you choose a country or a language yourself in the menu, the "pays" cookie retains that choice for twelve months. It serves only to stop redirecting you and is not used for any other purpose.
6.3. If you delete the "pays" cookie, the Website may again direct you to the version corresponding to the country of your connection.
Article 7. Audience measurement without cookies
7.1. The Website measures its audience with an analytics service provided by its hosting provider, which uses neither cookies nor identifiers. Page views are counted in aggregate, without following a person from one visit to another.
7.2. When a page loads, a measurement script executed by your browser transmits to the service technical information relating to that page view, such as the address of the page viewed, the referring page, the type of browser and operating system, and measurements of loading performance; the service also derives from the connection the country from which the page is viewed. The service does not place a cookie, does not write to local storage or session storage, and does not assign you an identifier.
7.3. The Controller uses the resulting statistics only in aggregate form, to know how the Website is used and to maintain and improve it. It does not combine them with other data and does not use them to follow a person or to build profiles.
7.4. No consent banner is displayed for this measurement. If you nevertheless wish to prevent the execution of the measurement script, you may block it through the settings of your browser or a content-blocking extension. Doing so does not affect your use of the Website.
Article 8. Storage used by the chat window
8.1. Where the chat window is offered on the Website, it places no cookie and keeps no messages in your browser.
8.2. Nothing is written in your browser before you open the chat window by clicking on it. It then uses session storage, erased when the tab is closed, to keep on lodgeyard.com its display settings and its open or closed state during the visit.
8.3. The chat window is displayed from rexorcloser.com, the domain of the chat service. On that domain, it also keeps, in session storage, its display texts and settings, which are erased when the tab is closed. Once you have sent a first message, the chat window keeps the identifier of your conversation in local storage, on lodgeyard.com and on rexorcloser.com, for twelve months after your last message, as long as the conversation itself is kept, so that the conversation can pick up where it left off when you come back.
8.4. This information serves only to provide the chat that you have requested by opening the window and, for the identifier of your conversation, by sending a first message. It is not used for advertising, for audience measurement or for tracking you from one website to another.
Article 9. Consent
9.1. The Trackers described in Article 5 fall within the exemptions referred to in Article 3.2. In particular, the storage of the chat window begins only when you open it, and the identifier of your conversation is kept in local storage only once you have sent a first message; both serve only to provide the conversation that you have expressly requested. The Website therefore does not request your consent for them.
9.2. If the Controller were to use a Tracker requiring consent, it would request your consent beforehand, by a means allowing you to refuse as easily as to accept, would place that Tracker only after your consent, and would allow you to withdraw your consent at any time as easily as you gave it. In accordance with the recommendation of the CNPD, your choice would be kept for no longer than twelve months.
Article 10. Managing trackers
10.1. You may at any time delete or block cookies and the storage of the Website through the settings of your browser. Each browser offers such settings, generally in its privacy or security section.
10.2. If you delete or block the "pays" cookie, the Website may again direct you to the version of your country of connection. The session storage of the chat window is erased when the tab is closed; if you delete or block the storage of the chat window, the current chat may no longer continue from one page to another. If you clear the data of lodgeyard.com and of rexorcloser.com in your browser, the identifier of your conversation kept in local storage is erased and the conversation no longer resumes automatically when you come back; the conversation itself is kept as described in the Privacy Policy, and you may ask for its deletion. You can also erase it from the chat window, with the "New conversation" link. If you block the security cookie, some functions of the Website may not be available.
10.3. Blocking the Trackers described in this Cookie Policy does not prevent you from consulting the content of the Website or from sending a quote request.
Article 11. Personal data and your rights
11.1. The processing of personal data related to the Trackers, its legal bases, the recipients, the transfers outside the European Union and the retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.
11.2. You may exercise your rights by writing to contact@lodgeyard.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), 15, Boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, cnpd.public.lu, or with the supervisory authority of your Member State of residence or work.
Article 12. Changes, language and version
12.1. The Controller may amend this Cookie Policy, in particular if it changes the Trackers used. The amended version is published on the Website with its date. A Tracker requiring consent is never placed before the consent provided for in Article 9.2.
12.2. This Cookie Policy is published in English and in French. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails, French being the language in which the legislation of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is drawn up and is authoritative (Law of 24 February 1984 on the language regime, Article 2).
12.3. This is version 1.1 of the Cookie Policy for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, dated 28 October 2026. The French version is published at /lu/juridique/politique-cookies. The other legal documents are listed on the legal information page.
